Care and cleaning of your brushes
Before first use:
Clean your new brushes with cool water and baby shampoo. Be careful to submerge only the bristles in water, as handles and ferrules may be damaged if submerged. Rinse well. Blot dry with paper towel and let air dry.
Cleaning and drying:
Use cool water and baby shampoo (or very mild cleanser) to clean bristles only.
Wash brush with tip pointing down to avoid excessive water.
Wash only the brush bristles - avoid getting the handle and metal ferrule wet.
Rinse thoroughly, blot dry with paper towel, and lie flat to air dry.
Do not expose to sun or drying appliances to dry bristles.
For heavy make-up build on brush, massage in a drop or two of olive oil into bristles and swirl bristles against paper towel to loosen build-up. Then clean as described above.
